Gabbiano, from The Pleasure Molecule's Città Libera series, takes its line from a gull at rest — a softly flared front panel that folds down like an opening wing, calm and unhurried. From the side, the structure leans gently forward in an asymmetric profile. The short handles are full and rounded, held together by a small leather buckle strap, and a detachable crossbody strap lets it move between hand, shoulder, and crossbody.

Mulberry is a dark, wine-tinged brown. The body is split suede with a soft, low-sheen nap, trimmed in top-grain leather at the handles and front edge, so the colour reads deeper where the textures meet.

About The Designer

Designed from the body outward

The Pleasure Molecule is a Shanghai studio founded by two Royal College of Art graduates. They design for the wear: leather waxed by hand to soften with use, custom-cast hardware, and straps that settle where the weight should rest.
