The L'erreur is acid pill's signature dumpling bag — a silhouette that began as a cutting mistake and stayed because we couldn't improve on it. In French, l'erreur means "the error." Rather than designing, we surrendered to a perfect accident. This Black edition is rendered in Napa leather produced using the same tanning and finishing craft as Hermès Swift: exceptionally smooth, fine-grained, with a slight elasticity and a muted silk finish that deepens with handling. The silhouette stays relaxed and almost careless, but the leather beneath the hand is immediately, unmistakably considered. A drawstring top breaks the rigidity of the bag, gathering into cloud-like natural pleats above a clean geometric base.

Material

Swift-style Napa leather — produced with the same family of tanning and finishing techniques used in Hermès' Swift. While retaining Napa's naturally fine grain, the surface is brought to a level of smoothness and softness ordinary Napa can't reach. Touch it once and the comparison is obvious — the hand is closer to fine silk satin than to leather, with a subtle rebound and a microluminescent surface that wraps the bag's pleats in light.

• Brush gently with a soft Nubuck/suede brush in one direction to lift the nap
• Spot-clean with a Nubuck-specific eraser — avoid water and conventional leather conditioner (it darkens the nap)
• Store lightly stuffed in the included dust bag, away from direct sunlight and heat
• Avoid contact with oils, perfumes, alcohol, and abrasive surfaces
• Light marks and natural burnishing are part of Nubuck's character — they settle into the bag's patina over time
