MyWay (40) — Espresso

$620.00
Regular price $620.00

The Myway 40 by The Pleasure Molecule is built on the same philosophy as the series — an unhurried silhouette, a compass-dial charm that rotates at a fingertip, a zip tail that trails past the opening as a signature detail. The scale is simply larger: more generous in capacity, more present on the shoulder, more suited to a day that refuses to be edited down.

Espresso is the darkest colourway in the Myway range — a near-black burgundy-brown that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. Here it is rendered in washed canvas with fine suede panelling: the canvas gives the bag its backbone and its lighter-than-expected weight, the suede adds warmth and a slight contrast in texture. Together they make a bag that looks expensive without announcing itself.

Material

A heavyweight woven body in deep espresso, paired with full-grain cowhide trim across the top frame, strap, and side piping. The tonal pairing reads quietly considered, body and trim sitting in the same chocolate-brown family. Both materials soften and settle with wear, the canvas opening up over time and the leather taking on a deeper patina. Lined in woven fabric and eco-friendly microfibre. Hardware in alloy.

Frequently asked questions

What makes TPM different?

Design. TPM builds around distinct, architectural silhouettes rather than following the season. Each bag is one form resolved down to the detail, the kind you can recognise before you see a label.

What is the design approach?

Refined minimalism. The studio treats each bag as a specific shape to solve, not a template to decorate, so the proportions and lines do the work. Quiet on the shelf, and obvious in motion.

What are the bags made of?

Hand-finished leather with custom hardware, chosen to suit each shape. The materials are there to serve the form and to soften into the wear over time, not to shout.

Where is TPM made, and who is behind it?

TPM is an independent studio based in Shanghai. Reco finds makers like this and brings them to North America for the first time, so you get design that is genuinely hard to find here, straight from the people behind it.
