Material

Crafted from top-grade full-grain Napa leather — the highest tier of Napa available. The hide retains its natural pores and grain, giving the bag a supple, fat-like hand and excellent durability against daily wear and shape loss. Unlike the plastic feel of coated or corrected leathers, full-grain Napa carries a restrained silk-like sheen that deepens over time, developing a personal patina the longer you carry it.

Why Acid Pill

Material first

Acid Pill puts everything into the leather, not the branding. The grade you would expect on a major luxury bag, including nappa from the same family as Hermès Swift, without the logo or the markup.

Frequently asked questions

What makes Acid Pill different?

A small studio that puts everything into the make rather than the marketing. No exterior logo, no loud hardware. The leather and the line carry the bag, and they reward a closer look.

What kind of leather is used?

Leather at the grade you would find on major luxury names, including nappa from the same family as Hermès Swift. Chosen for how it wears and softens over time, not how it photographs on day one.

Why is there no visible logo or branding?

By design. Acid Pill leans on organic minimalism, so the material, proportion and negative space do the work. It reads quiet on the shelf and holds up the more you handle it.

Where is Acid Pill made, and who is behind it?

Acid Pill is an independent Chinese design studio. Reco finds these makers and brings them to North America for the first time, so you get work that is hard to find here, straight from the people who make it.
